Metro Bank Asset Finance has added three new hires in key business development roles, according to a social media posting by the challenger bank’s section head.

Nathan Mollett, director of Metro Bank’s asset finance division, said: “All three have joined during the lockdown and have been inducted into the business using digital channels.”

The new hires are Alex Cooper, Graham Scott-Barnes and Charlotte Williams.

Alex Cooper joins as business development director from Hampshire-based Paris Smith LLP where he was a litigation paralegal in the dispute resolution team working alongside the firm’s asset finance clients. Cooper has worked in asset finance since joining vehicle finance specialist Liberty Leasing in 2012. He is a law graduate from Bournemouth University.

Graham Scott-Barnes joins as a business development manager from Lloyds where he was associate director of hire purchase and leasing. Scott-Barnes has 27 years’ solid asset finance experience with Lloyds Bank, Lex Automotive (Lloyds), RBS/NatWest and Lombard (RBS).

Charlotte Williams joins as business development manager from Wesleyan where she was a broker account manager. Williams has previously held roles at Lombard (assistant relationship director) and Capex Finance (business development manager).
