Lombard has provided funds for a new
recording studio to be built at the School of Sound Recording in
Manchester (SSR). Over £500,000 (€560,000) in investment will go to
build the high-tech recording studio in Ardwick. Lombard’s Nick
Harding and Jackie Grundy arranged the funding package. SSR,
established a quarter of a century ago by managing director, John
Breaekell, has been used by The Smiths, Happy Mondays and The Stone
Roses among others.
