Lloyds Bank has appointed Patrick Sherrington as head of Corporate Asset Finance, leading the Origination and Portfolio Management team.
Sherrington has been promoted from leading the bank’s origination team in the aerospace, defence and transport sector, and will now be providing mid- and large-ticket asset finance and leasing products for corporate, institutional and mid cap clients.

Before joining Lloyds in 2007, Sherrington worked at Lombard North Central as associate director of Corporate Asset Finance, and has 16 years of experience in the asset and structured finance business since gaining his economics degree from Cardiff University.
Sherrington said of his promotion: "I am looking forward to bringing my experience in asset and structured finance to this new role. Established over 30 years ago, the Corporate Asset Finance team has a strong track record and proven experience offering structured asset and commodity-backed finance, which involves financing a range of core corporate assets for our corporate, public and financial sector clients."
He replaced Tim Durham who will henceforth be working in the rail leasing market.
