The members of the Future Group were identified by the chief executives of their companies as having the potential to rise to the top of the industry following the Leaseurope CEO Business Council meeting in March.
Jacqueline Mills, director of Research and Asset Finance at Leaseurope, said the group was created after the Council identified talent development and industry innovation as two issues vital to the future of the industry and Leaseurope hopes the Future Group will address both issues head on.
The Future Group members met first in May and worked on individual ideas before voting for the top three at a second meeting. The group has since worked on the three ideas in teams and will finalise presentations at a September meeting before addressing the industry at the Leaseurope Convention on 10 and 11 October.
Mills added the group was also an opportunity for rising talent in the industry to network with senior figures and said Leaseurope hopes the initiative will become an annual fixture of the conference.
