DLL chief executive officer Carlo van Kemenade left his post before Christmas to become chief executive officer at parent Rabobank’s mortgage lender Obvion at the start of this year.
Van Kemenade is a DLL veteran, having started at the lessor in 1990, and was chief operating officer of the European arm of DLL for over a decade, becoming chief operating officer of the American arm of the business and member of DLL’s managing board in 2013.

Carlo van Kemenade said: “Obvion is a well-known brand in The Netherlands. It is a great and inspiring company that should be proud of what it has achieved so far. Moreover it has proud and enthusiastic people who put the customer at the centre of everything they do.”
Berry Marttin, chairman of the supervisory board of Obvion and member of the managing board of Rabobank, said: “Carlo van Kemenade is a very experienced manager. He has great customer focus and is strong in change management. I am very pleased that he will come on board to lead Obvion to the next phase.”
Van Kemenade represented DLL in many interviews and at several LL events including the Leasing Life conference in Paris in 2016.
It is not known yet who will succeed him at DLL.
