Independent Business Finance, a commercial finance broker, has become authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), The Bolton News reported.
Following a month-long application process, the provider of asset finance and invoice finance based in Bolton said it had been granted authorisation by the City watchdog.

Ian Moore, a director of the company, said: “Our migration to fully authorised status is testament to the policies and procedures we have in place.

Husband and wife team, Ian and Kelly Moore, launched the business in 2009, at the height of the recession.
Ian Moore was an RBS portfolio manager for eight years, between 1999 and 2007.
The business is a member of the National Association of Commerical Finance Brokers.
