Consultancy IAA-Advisory has signed a strategic alliance with another firm and has made senior leadership changes.
The firm has entered a formal strategic alliance with Theta Financial Reporting, which is led by Chris Biggs.

Biggs has a wealth of experience and skill in dealing with the technical accounting challenges that face the asset finance industry, ranging from IFRS 16 through to IFRS 15 and IFRS 9, said IAA.
The business added that the addition of Theta’s skills base to IAA-Advisory’s activities would help it to serve the asset finance industry in an effective and creative manner.
Additionally, IAA Advisory chief executive Lindsay Town will take on the role of chairman in addition to his current role of chief executive.
Former chairman Derek Soper will continue as a director and shareholder and take the title of Founder.

The changes will also allow Derek to focus more on his interests outside IAA-Advisory, albeit remaining closely allied to the asset finance industry.
