Asset-based funding solutions provider Haydock has announced the appointment of four new senior underwriters.

Angela Hendrie joins the structured credit team at Haydock, bringing more than 25 years of experience to the table.

Her expertise in managing complex transactions is expected to significantly enhance the company’s capabilities in handling larger deals.

Hendrie’s career highlights include a role as risk team manager at Carrick Finance and a substantial tenure at the Bank of Scotland, where she handled commercial and business customer portfolios.

Additionally, the Flow Credit team expanded with the addition of Emma Richardson, Jim Stewart, and Stuart MacVicar, whose roles will be crucial in upholding Haydock’s reputation for a “commercial, can-do approach”.

Haydock flow credit head Michael O’Malley stated: “With a huge amount of knowledge and experience, Emma, Jim and Stuart are valuable additions to the team. We pride ourselves on offering open and transparent communication so our intermediary partners will be able to work alongside Emma, Jim and Stuart, and benefit from their wealth of expertise.”

Richardson is well-versed in asset finance, with a decade of experience at Handelsbanken and previous positions at the Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds.

Stewart joins Haydock with a strong background in credit assessment, following a three-year stint as a Credit Assessment Team Leader at Softcat and has prior experience at Braemar Finance, a division of Close Brothers.

MacVicar, formerly a senior underwriter at Carrick Asset Finance, adds his extensive knowledge of credit in the asset finance market to the team.
