Andy Hart has resigned as interim managing director of Lombard.
Hart took up the position at the UK lessor following the departure of Alex Baldock in August 2012.

Leasing Life understands Hart was offered the managing director position on a permanent basis but was also offered a senior position externally which he has accepted.
Hart will remain with Lombard for at least one month while a replacement is appointed, either on a permanent or interim basis.
Before taking the interim leadership role, Hart, who joined Lombard in 1995, has held various management positions including heading up its Large Corporate & Specialist Asset Finance business, which includes Lombard Technology Services, and its Marine and Aviation finance divisions, as well as leading the Business & Commercial division.
