Past experience: Joined GE
Capital in 2001 as national business development manager for its
auto finance business. He became regional manager at Davenham Group
plc and rejoined GE Capital in 2007 as national account manager for
the UK mortgage business. Sutton spent the last 18 months as
regional director for GE Capital’s equipment finance business.

New role: Regional director for Greater London and the
South. He will be responsible for growing the asset based lending
business and report to Jon Hughes, GE Capital director for business
development for London and the South East.
Past experience: Most
recently, regional director at KBC Business Capital; prior to that,
he held a number of positions with Landsbanki, Enterprise Finance
Europe and Lloyds TSB Bank Plc.
Barry
Lee
New role: Regional director, East Midlands, reporting
to Paul Edmeades, business development director in the Midlands.
Lee will focus on growing business by providing asset-based
financing solutions for companies in the region.
Past experience: He joins
from HSBC, where he spent the past three years heading up its
asset-based lending offering in the East of England. Prior to that,
he spent ten years working for GE Capital in various commercial
positions.
Peter Jones
New role: Regional director, Manchester. He will report
to Simon Wells, business development director for the north, and
will be responsible for sourcing, structuring and closing
asset-based and structured lending transactions, marketing directly
to businesses and an active network of intermediaries.
Past experience: He joins
from Landsbanki, where he spent five years establishing the
company’s presence in Manchester and structuring numerous
high-profile transactions. He has more than 25 years experience in
business development in the financial services sector.
Nihal
Winniczuk
New role: Regional manager, Yorkshire. She will report
to Simon Wells. Her role will involve prospecting into new markets
in order to develop new business relationships within the
north.
Past experience: She
joined GE Capital five years ago as a client manager, moving to the
audit team in May 2007, becoming responsible for auditing existing
clients and surveying potential new business. Prior to that, she
worked in marketing for two years completing her Chartered
Institute of Marketing exams.
