Discussions are under way about possibly rebranding Interbanca as GE Capital, the finance arm of GE. Interbancas business includes leasing and factoring as well as other financial activities mainly focused on the needs of the SME sector.

Interbanca’s business includes leasing and factoring as well as
other financial activities mainly focused on the needs of the SME
sector.
Integration of Interbanca still requires approval from Banca
d’Italia, the central bank of Italy, which is in charge of banking
and financial supervision.
