GE Capital has teamed up with solar
company Solarcentury to provide financing to UK schools and local
authorities via the Solar4Schools scheme.

The lessor will fund the cost of
installing the solar technology with the school typically making a
small deposit and paying back the equipment cost over 15 years.
Solarcentury said the deal would “enable local communities to
benefit from feed-in tariff payments from year 15 to 25 of the
scheme”.
