CLM won the contract after a lengthy tender
process.
The deal for an undisclosed amount was struck
to help Arco reduce the cost of their fleet while increasing the
level of service, said Arco’s indirect services manager Jimmy
Fegan.
He said Arco looked at 11 prospective
suppliers in the fleet market, both industry leaders and smaller
organisations, comparing their price and diversity of services.
CLM uses a panel of preferred leasing
suppliers to find the most competitive monthly rentals for clients.
The company said previous experience has shown acquisition cost
savings of eight -10 percent can be achieved by using the
panel.
