Liam Donnelly heads Arval’s global business
office
Arval, the fleet leasing business of BNP
Paribas, has appointed Liam Donnelly as head of its International
Business Office (IBO).

Donnelly will lead a team of more than 20
people which handles the fleet management needs of nearly 90
customer accounts globally.
Donnelly will be responsible for increasing
the number of customers and extending the IBO in countries where
existing customers are served.
He joined Arval UK in 2004 as a sales director
after nine years with Lex Vehicle Leasing and Arma Beheer.
From 2007, Donnelly has led Arval India as
general manager where he successfully grew the business from a
newly established subsidiary to a business which continues to grow
by 60% each year.

White Clarke Group expands in Latin
America with new deal
Leasing software provider White Clarke Group
(WCG) has signed a further agreement to implement its fleet
management and contract hire solution to Latin America.
WCG announced an unnamed automotive player has
singed up for its CALMS2 system and will go live next
year.
The group already has a presence in Latin
America, in particularly in Mexico and Brazil, and has targeted
growth in the region.
Brendan Gleeson, global sales and marketing director at WCG,
said the group were delighted with the contract and said it
underpins WCG’s global capability. He added WCG also expect to
implement a solution in China in the near future.
Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions develops salary
sacrifice for KPMG
Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions has developed a new salary
sacrifice car scheme called CarFlex for UK accountancy firm
KPMG.
Hitachi Capital VS worked closely with KPMG’s internal car
consulting team to integrate the firms existing company car
scheme.
The CarFlex programme will be open to all KPMG employees which
will bring an additional 6500 members of staff into the scheme.
Leasedrive maintains Experian contract
Independent vehicle management firm Leasedrive has secured the
continued custom of credit information company Experian in a five
year deal.
Experian’s fleet of 650 vehicles was previously managed by
Masterlease and, following integration this year, will continue to
be provided by new owners Leasedrive.
The UK lessor has also extended its fleet agreement with heating
manufacturer BDR Thermea for a further three years with an option
to extend for a further two and will encompass 550 vehicles.
Zenith engineers new business
UK fleet lessor Zenith has secured the contract to manage the
133-vehicle fleet of engineering firm Spencer.
The deal includes contract hire, accident management services
and pay-on-use maintenance for Spencer’s 70 outright-owned
commercial vehicles.
The company’s drivers will utilise Zenith’s online motoring
expenses system MyMiles which has been tailored to Spencer’s
specific needs.
Fleet Alliance launch new repair service
Also in the UK, Glasgow-based fleet manager Fleet Alliance has
launched a new repair service in conjunction with Nationwide
Accident Repair.
The service will include pre end-of-contract vehicle inspection
and other fleet repair options available on a menu-pricing
basis.
Fleet Alliance said the service is intended to help fleet
operators avoid unwanted and unbudgeted end-of-contract-charges
from their leasing suppliers.
