Compass Business Finance has strengthened its presence in the construction sector by appointing a team of new specialists to enhance support for businesses through its asset-based finance products.
Lauren Duke joins Compass as a finance specialist from Alpha Asset Finance, bringing nearly seven years of experience in asset finance. In her new role, she will provide tailored financial solutions to construction firms acquiring new assets.

Duke said: “I enjoyed my previous role immensely, but moving to Compass offers more opportunities to progress and broaden my horizons. Compass lends its own money, as well as leveraging offerings from other lenders, to provide competitive solutions. The clincher for me was visiting the head office; the professional and friendly environment blew me away.”
In addition, Hannah Starling has returned to Compass after a period of travel and gaining broader industry experience. Starling will be part of the office-based team specialising in financial services for the construction industry.
The appointments follow the recent addition of Charlie MacDonald, who joined Compass late last year. Together, the team will leverage the company’s expertise to expand support for a wider range of construction sector clients while maintaining the personalised service for which Compass is known.
