Developer Sofico has added cloud capabilities to its Miles leasing management software.
The cloud features are intended for both front and back-office use. The management suite now comes with a companion app on both iOS and Android system.

Through the app, the software will provide customers with service reminders, online booking, incident reporting and mileage forecasts. At the same time, data fed into the main database of a customer will allow for driver profiling and efficient vehicle allocation.
Additionally, Sofico is developing a range of “white label” web portals for fleet management that can branded according to customers’ wishes.
Sofico chief technology officer, Piet Maes, said: “Although Miles is the world’s leading hybrid fleet and retail contract management system, the mobility ecosystem is being disrupted rapidly and we need to continually run to keep ahead.
“Our clients need quicker time-to-market for new service offerings, with access to faster processing, large amounts of data and business intelligence upon which they can take better informed business decisions, across a variety of different channels and delivered through the cloud.”
