Law firm Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) has appointed two asset finance partners in its London practice.

Rex Rosales and Jahnavi Ramachandran both join in from law firm Watson, Farley & Williams (WFW).

Rosales’s focus is on transportation assets. He was a head of the aviation and rail finance team at WFW for seven years. Before that, he was partner at Reed Smith and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, as well as an associate at Ogilvy Renault and Clifford Chance.

Ramachandran’s holds expertise in the financing of commercial aircrafts, helicopters and business jets. She was previously a partner and solicitor at WFW, and also held positions at RBS Aviation Capital’s legal team and the Norton Rose group (now part of Norton Rose Fulbright).

HSF has also appointed Siva Subramaniam and Samuel Kolehmainen as large-ticket asset finance partners in Singapore.
