Bibby Financial Services (BFS) has appointed Chris Sygrove and Jonathan Myerscough as corporate managers for the Midlands, its latest move to continue its asset-based lending development in the region.

Myerscough joined from Aldermore Bank where he served as regional sales director. He has also worked a RBS IF and Lloyds Bank Commercial Finance, and has over 15 years’ experience in invoice finance.

Myerscough said: “The team at BFS is incredibly experienced, but first and foremost we’re a relationship-based funder…I’m delighted to be joining the corporate team at such an exciting time for BFS.”

Sygrove previously worked at BFS in the role of business development manager. Prior to joining BFS, he spent 8 years in commercial and corporate banking roles within NatWest and RBS.

Sygrove said: “I’m pleased with my new role and look forward to supporting businesses and advisers alike with our corporate funding solutions.”

Both Myerscough and Sygrove will be responsible for structuring finance packages of between £1m and £15m for larger SMEs. They will be based in BFS’s West Midlands Business Centre in Birmingham.
