Law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) has appointed Anton Chambers to the company’s London office.

Chambers, who was previously with Clifford Chance, has joined BCLP’s transportation and asset finance division and will be specialising in aviation finance.

According to Chambers’ LinkedIn profile, he has: “extensive experience advising banks, other lending institutions, leasing companies and manufacturers [with] cross-border sale, purchase, leasing and financing transactions in the aviation industry.”

BCLP has dedicated aviation financing practitioners throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Russia. 

The aviation finance team won several global asset finance awards in 2019. In 2020, the team won the Aviation 100 Awards, Supported Finance Deal of the Year prize, for advising El Al Israel Airlines on the first Aircraft Finance Insurance Consortium-Japanese Operating Lease with Call Option, financing. 

Chambers spend 12 years with Clifford Chance, which included his time training as a solicitor. In 2009, Clifford took Chambers on to work in the Asset Finance department. Anton is admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales and is a graduate of the University of Cambridge.
