Arval, the fleet arm of French bank BNP
Paribas, has signed a three-year contract with British Car Auctions
(BCA), the UK’s largest auction company.
The contract includes remarketing, customer
collections and end-of-term inspections of Arval cars and LCVs by
BCA, as well as performing the back office functions for Arval’s
trade platform Arval Motor Trade.

The news means BCA is now the UK auction
partner to both Arval and fellow European fleet giant
LeasePlan.
Preparation for sale of ex-commercial
vehicles, such as removing company livery, will also be conducted
by BCA Smart Prepared.
Car sales will be conducted at BCA’s
Blackbushe and Edinburgh sites, with commercial vehicles traded at
the auctioneer’s Measham operation. All vehicles will also be
available by live, online auction.
