Arval, the fleet arm of BNP Paribas, has unveiled its new telematics offering, Arval Active Link, as well as a number of digital enhancements at its annual international Conference on 28of June
Arval Active Link will cost 3 a month, with optional services available for an extra fee. It has launched in the UK and the Netherlands, and will be rolled out in Italy, France, Spain and the Czech Republic from September 2015. The company aims to have launched the product in other European countries by the end of 2016.

On the day, of the conference, Bart Beckers, chief commercial officer at Arval, explained that one- third of SME customers find Arval from the digital world. In response to this, the company has worked to create a new website, web store, mobile app and telematics offering.
Philippe Bismut, Arval chief executive officer, said: "Telematics-based services and the data they produce are keys not only for the automotive sector, but also for the future of full-service leasing, which is going to be deeply transformed, placing anticipation at the core of every strategy and allowing the whole business model to shift towards a new era."
Alongside the telematics offering, the fleet management company has launched Arval Fleet View and Arval Analytics, which give users access to new modules, indicators and granular information on contracts, cars and people for fleet managers and drivers.
Arval also revealed an updated mobile app, Mobile + at the conference. Through this app, drivers can manage their contract, their car and trips. It also provides information on things like traffic and weather. The app was the result of customer feedback from several countries.

Additionally, it revealed a new web store, which will give SMEs access to full-service leasing quotes on an unrestricted list of vehicles. In France, where the webstore launched in April, Arval reported that volumes of leads and orders have tripled.
