UK challenger bank Aldermore has appointed Sam Skinner to its invoice finance division as regional sales manager for the Thames Valley and South Coast.
Skinner will be responsible for building relationships with existing and potential customers in the area, as well as making local SMEs aware of the invoice finance option. He previously held the role of regional sales manager at GRENKE Factoring.

Richard Whitehouse, regional sales director, invoice finance at Aldermore, said: "Sam brings a great deal of experience to Aldermore and is a well-respected member of the business finance community in the Thames Valley region. Not only does Sam have a thorough understanding of the needs of the local SME community, but he also has extensive knowledge of invoice finance, which in the past has seen him host training days for intermediaries who want to learn about this type of finance.
