Oli Watts

Watts brought more than 25 years of financial sector experience to the position. He joined Aldermore from ABN AMRO, where he served as Managing Director of Asset Based Finance UK. His earlier career included finance and leadership roles at RBS Invoice Finance, NatWest Commercial and Corporate Banking, and positions in client management and business development.

Danielle Soto, Managing Director of Business Finance and Savings at Aldermore, said the appointment would strengthen the bank’s ability to offer “tailored, end-to-end funding solutions for growing SMEs,” particularly where bespoke structures could support business growth.

Commenting on his appointment, Watts said he was joining Aldermore “at a time when UK businesses need more flexible, sophisticated funding.” He added that the bank’s approach to customer service would help deliver financing that met “the complex and evolving needs” of mid-market SMEs.
