Specialist insurance provider to the equipment finance sector, Acquis, has expanded its North American team with the appointments of Peter Austin, Shawn O’Neill and Thomas Griffith as Vice Presidents of Business Development.
Based in Philadelphia, the three will each oversee sales across designated US regions, the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, Midwest, and Southwest, supporting Acquis’s growth and the delivery of its insurance solutions to lessors, funders and their customers.

Peter Austin will manage the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast territories, drawing on nearly twenty years of experience at Siemens Financial Services. His background includes work across the financial services, automotive and IT sectors.
Shawn O’Neill will lead business development in the Midwest. He joins from North Star Leasing, where he was Strategic Sales Manager, and previously served as Enterprise Account Executive at LANStatus.
Thomas Griffith will cover the Southwest region. He has held senior roles at DLL and Siemens, and spent almost nineteen years at Phillips Medical Capital as Vice President of Business Development.
Acquis said the appointments form part of its ongoing investment in the US market. Chief Executive Nick Leader stated that the new hires “bring extensive experience across leasing and insurance” and that their addition “supports Acquis’s aim to deliver value to lessors through tailored equipment insurance solutions.”
