Mike Oxby has departed Lombard, the leasing
arm of RBS, to lead the asset finance division of Santander
Corporate Banking.
He will be based at Santander’s Manchester
office, not far from his old posting at Lombard’s regional
headquarters.

Oxby, who now reports to Marcelino Castrillo
Garcia, managing director of products and marketing at Santander’s
corporate arm, has previously worked at De Lage Landen, Hewlett
Packard Financial Services, and Key Equipment Finance.
Spanish bank Santander, which has incorporated
elements of the former Alliance & Leicester and Abbey leasing
businesses into its corporate division, expects to make several
more key hires in the near future.
