Before joining DLL, he worked at GE Capital –
having joined the company through their acquisition of City Capital
in the US. At both companies, he held management positions in
equipment finance, both on the retail and inventory finance
side.

Meredith has 20 years’ experience in equipment
finance, particularly in the agricultural sector. He has been
working with specialised manufacturers, primarily in the US.

Frans Janssen, senior vice president for DLL
in Central Eastern Europe, said: “For the CEE region, which is an
emerging market, it is very important to have specialised
people.

“Having a GBU headed by Tom means that we are
able to finalise deals like the one we did with CNH in Poland and Russia, but it will also
make it very simple to expand to other countries. We can discuss
with manufacturers on a global basis.”
