Nordea Liising, the Estonian leasing arm of
Nordea Bank, provided lease credit worth a total of EEK 302 million
(€19.3 million) in the first two months of the year, increasing its
market share to 33.4 percent of new leasing business in Estonia,
according to the lessor’s latest figures.
Silver Kuus, Nordea Liising’s general manager,
said the firm had increased its market share step by step over the
years, and that its portfolio had grown by nearly 16 percent over
the last year.

“This year, we shall continue providing new lease and factoring
credit to Nordea customers and other banking groups who have
retained the requisite solvency and credit rating in today’s
complicated economic environment,” Kuus added.

Nordea Liising’s aggregate credit portfolio grew 15.6 percent
year-on-year, to reach EEK 6.6 billion (€422 million) at the end of
February.
