LeasePlan UK hires remarketing head
Fleet management company LeasePlan UK has appointed
James Hopkins as head of remarketing, as well as
establishing two new departments.
Hopkins most recently worked at Mazda as fleet and
remarketing director, and later as director of European fleet
operations.
Bibby names new global
chief
Simon Featherstone is to replace
David Robertson as global chief executive of Bibby
Financial Services following Robertson’s retirement at the end of
2011.
Featherstone is currently
managing director at Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance. He will join
Bibby Financial Services in September, before succeeding Robertson
as global chief executive in January 2012.
The announcement came as Bibby
Financial Services said its pre-tax profits grew by 84% to £34.3m
(€38.6m) in 2010 – following a 25% year-on-year growth in new
business.”
Bingham heads to
Macquarie
Richard Bingham, formerly UK and Ireland
finance sales manager at IBM Global Financing, is to take on a role
at Sydney-headquartered funder Macquarie.
Bingham is to become European sales manager at Macquarie, following
21 years at IGF.
CAL&F interim CEO
appointed
Bertrand Chevallier has been appointed
interim CEO at Crédit Agricole Leasing and Factoring.
Chevallier, who was previously deputy CEO, takes up the role
following the departure of Olivier
Toussaint.
Toussaint’s move came as part of
a management reshuffle in Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment
Banking (CIB) during March.
GE boosts structured finance
team
GE Capital has appointed Neil Kerridge as
originations director at its Corporate Structured Finance team. The
move is to boost GE Capital’s capabilities as it seeks to focus on
supporting UK businesses with a presence in Europe.
Kerridge will be working domestically and cross-border, in
structured asset-based lending and invoice finance.
Kerridge joins from Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance, where
he was head of ABL Structuring. He has also held a number of
positions with the corporate sales and audit teams at Lloyds
TSB.
