Law firm Shoosmiths has recruited five lawyers from fellow legal firm DWF.

Janet Dalton has joined as the new head of the Financial Services team in Manchester. Before this she was head of non-contentious asset finance at DWF. She will advise on all aspects of non-contentious asset finance work, including transactional and regulatory work.

Dalton has been joined by Suzanna Taylor and Aleea Bhatoo, who have joined Shoosmiths as associates.

In Birmingham, Roger Potgieter has joined as an asset finance partner and Charlotte Healey has joined as a solicitor.

Potgieter specialises in recoveries, general litigation and advice for auto finance and asset finance clients, and will also assist partner
Melanie Chell in managing and growing the Shoosmiths recoveries team.
