UK leasing broker Kennet Equipment Leasing has
launched a smart phone app for its vendor partners to calculate
leasing quotes.
More than 100 vendors registered to use the
app within an hour of its launch, Friday 10 August.

The tool is available on iPad and most smart
phones, including iPhone, Android and Blackberry models, and can be
used to quickly generate leasing quotes using an invoice value and
repayment term.
Enquiries can be e-mailed directly to Kennet
from the smart phone so the finance process can be underway within
minutes of a customer agreeing in principle or the quote can be
stored on the device to follow up at a later date.
Steve Swift, Kennet chairman, said: “This app
will not only help company sales – there is an MI function which
provides a breakdown of quotes – but it will save valuable time and
administration for those who use it.
“It will ultimately allow that deal to be
closed ‘on site’, making the whole sales process quicker and
slicker from start to finish.”
