Mikro Leasing has a book of around 1000 leases written over the past five years, and the report in Belarusian news put the worth of the total leases at around $36m (31.75m).
The business is mostly in small and mid-ticket vehicle and equipment leases, solely on Belarusian-made products, which has contributed Br10bn (59k) to the Belarusian government’s coffers in tax.
Bianchi said to Belarusian News that Mikro Leasing plays an important role in the development of Belarus-Italy relations. "Successful operation within a rather long period of time and, what is more important, stable work which does not depend on market ups and downs proves that Belarus is attractive for foreign investments," Bianchi told the local paper.
