French lessor BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions has appointed the former head of its European division, Olivier de Ryck, as head of the international development division.
In his new position, De Ryck will supervise efforts to develop BNP Paribas’s leasing business in India, China and the USA.

De Ryck, has been part of the leasing industry since 2004 and before that was a commercial banker with Fortis group and Banque Régionale du Nord.
In 2010 De Ryck joined the executive committee of BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions with responsibility for the Mediterranean Europe division and supervised efforts in Turkey, Poland, Ukraine, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Romania, Hungary and Switzerland.
De Ryck will continue to sit on the firm’s steering committee.
