Simon Featherstone is to replace David
Robertson as global chief executive of Bibby Financial Services
following Robertson’s retirement at the end of 2011.
Featherstone is currently managing director at
Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance. He will join Bibby Financial
Services in September 2011, before succeeding Robertson as global
chief executive in January 2012.

The announcement came as Bibby Financial
Services said its pre-tax profits grew by 84 percent to £34.3m
(€38.6m) in 2010 – following a 25 percent year-on-year growth in
new business.
Robertson said: “Our success comes as a result
of our clients experiencing growth following on from the recession,
the continual expansion of our client portfolio and the increased
contribution from our global offices after initial investment in
these areas.”
Bibby Financial Services has 16 local offices
throughout the UK and handles annual client turnover of more than
£3.9bn.
