UK-based lender and savings bank Aldermore has appointed a business development manager for its business finance team.
Peter Hicks will join the team responsible for supporting the funding needs of SMEs in Scotland and the North of England.

Hicks has over 25 years' experience in asset finance, and will join Aldermore from his most recent role as transport specialist at Siemens.
Hicks said: “Knowing Aldermore’s strong focus in the Broker market and on helping local SMEs achieve their growth ambitions, I was really excited by the opportunity to join the Bank.”
In his new role, Hicks will report to Dean Spencer, head of external broker, asset finance at Aldermore.
Spencer said: “We believe Peter will fit in very well and will be a great addition to our team. We’re delighted to have him on board.”
