Acquis Insurance Management (Acquis) is to offer its services to an Austrian funder, who will start Acquis’ outsourced Financed Equipment Protection (FEP) programme this autumn.
As this is Acquis’ first client in Austria, the company decided to join VÖL-Verband Österreichischer Leasing-Gesellschaften in order to help it support and understand the specific needs of the country’s funders.

Following this agreement, the number of countries that Acquis has clients in rose to 13.
John Chadwick, Acquis director, said: "It is great to see that the benefits of the FEP programme are adding real value to the finance proposition, across different European countries, despite the different local cultures and issues faced by funders".
Chadwick said that Acquis’ outsourced insurance programme helps secure the funder’s financed portfolio against loss and delivers the opportunity to generate fee income.
"Outsourcing the insurance administration to an industry expert also enables funders to focus on their core business of financing assets", he added.
