The Swedish Car Rental Association (Biluthyrarna Sverige) has
joined Leaseurope.
With this new entrant, Europe’s umbrella association for the
leasing and rental industries will comprise 47 member associations
in 33 European countries.
Leaseurope’s chairman Rüdiger von Fölkersamb said: “I am delighted
that Biluthyrarna Sverige has decided to join Leaseurope. With the
Swedish, Norwegian and Danish national associations, we now benefit
from a well organised and strong Nordic representation.”

Roger Ekdahl, director general of Biluthyrarna Sverige, added:
“Joining Leaseurope provides us with additional leverage to
safeguard and promote the interests of our members, especially when
dealing with such important issues such as security, cross border
rental and vehicle taxation.”
The Swedish association will be a full Leaseurope member
starting from January 1 2010.
