Bibby Leasing has appointed Don Hirst as sales director and Lauren Phipps as risk manager as it plans to expand its broker business line.
Hirst joins from Aldermore where he was head of Broker & Professions and brings with him 15 years’ of experience in the UK broker market.

Phipps was previously a structured risk analyst at GE Capital Equipment Finance and has worked in risk for more than 20 years, including positions with De Lage Landen and BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions.
Carol Roberts, managing director of Bibby Leasing, said: "Bibby has ambitious growth plans in the forthcoming years and Don will lead the Sales team in the drive to significantly increase their presence in a range of market areas.
"Significant expansion of the broker and materials handling offering is planned and discussions are progressing to develop the proposition across the board."
