Asset finance software firm CHP Consulting has implemented a web-based point-of-sale system for Societe Generale Equipment Finance (SGEF) UK.
The programme, called SGEF Engage and based on CHP’s Alfa system, allows SGEF’s introducer partners to access transaction pricing and proposal management, generate documentation and send their own documentation to SGEF online.

The system also includes automated Experian credit searches and the Alfa suite’s accounts-payable functionality.
Steve Symons, operations director at SGEF UK, said: "We’re delighted with the efficiencies this system has given us and our customers, and we’ve had great feedback from our introducers."
CHP recently signed a deal with Nordea Finance to establish front- and back-end software across the lessors four Nordic markets.
