Patrick Beselaere has replaced John
Howland-Jackson as head of ING Lease in the lessor’s core
markets.
Beselaere, in addition to his current role as
chief executive of ING Lease Belgium, takes the reigns with
immediate effect as Product Head of General Lease.

He will take responsibility for the General
Lease product in ING’s home markets of Belgium, Luxembourg,
Netherlands, Poland, Romania and Turkey, and other core markets in
the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
Before heading up the Dutch bank’s Belgian
leasing arm, Beselaere held various roles within the division,
including in the IT and vehicle leasing sectors.
Responsibility for the six ING Lease
businesses in run-off (Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Hungary and
Russia) falls to Hein Brand, a member of the ING Commercial Bank
Executive Team.
The move is part of a wider ING strategy to
further integrate core leasing markets into the ING Commercial
Banking structure under the General Lending and Transaction
Services division, according to an ING spokesperson.

created role within ING’s Sovereign Wealth division.
Howland-Jackson, who led ING’s Leasing and
Factoring businesses from early 2009, has been appointed senior
managing director responsible for ING’s overall relationships with
the key Sovereign Wealth Funds and similar organisations.
