Contract hire on the rise
A lack of easily available credit is forcing operators to take up increasing amounts of contract hire and rental options, according to The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). It also revealed that van sales in August went down 24.7 per cent compared with a year ago, while truck sales dipped 3.2 per cent.
