ING Lease (UK) has taken home the prize of Vehicle Finance Provider of the Year at the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers’ Annual Gala Dinner, on a night that also saw wins for Investec Asset Finance and Close Brothers.
The ING award comes despite being exactly a week ahead of the company’s final day of accepting business (30 November), having announced it is pulling out of UK vehicle and asset finance at the end of October.

Investec, which announced plans to double its portfolio following the ING withdrawal, was named Asset Funder of the Year, while nominee for Transaction of the year at the Leasing Life awards Close Brothers took the Specialist Lender of the Year prize.
Most Innovative Lender of the Year went to Funding Circle, which announced today a bonus commission scheme for brokers to fill the void left by ING.
