Commercial vehicle finance funder Asset Alliance Group has delivered its 2000th commercial vehicle.
Asset Alliance supplies multi-brand assets on a combination of contract hire, operating leasing, finance lease, or hire purchase, using its own funds to buy and finance vehicles and trainers.

Patterson established Asset Alliance in 2010, having formerly served as director of commercial finance at Alliance & Leicester. The group now includes Asset Alliance, and ATE Truck and Trailer Sales, Total Reefer, and Forest Asset Finance.
The 2000th asset was a Mercedes-Benz Actros 2548 tractor unit, delivered to 3G Transport, to be used to transport bananas from Southampton’s port to supermarkets across the country. To mark the milestone, Asset Alliance donated £2,000 (€2376) to the STV Children’ Appeal, a programme to fight child poverty in Scotland.
Patterson said: “I think what we have proved is that if a business is nimble enough to respond to customers’ needs and efficient enough to offer competitive rates there is a real chance to gain market share.”
