The Leasing Foundation has confirmed that Funding Xchange will sponsor its Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives for the 2025–2026 period, according to a press release.
The collaboration is intended to support ongoing efforts to foster a more inclusive environment within the asset finance industry.

The Foundation’s EDI programme focuses on promoting diversity, inclusion and wellbeing through events, networking and dialogue. It seeks to engage professionals from a range of organisations and backgrounds to encourage broader representation and a sense of belonging across the sector.
Ylva Oertengren, Chair of the Leasing Foundation, described the partnership as a means of “driving collaboration and dialogue,” noting that the Foundation’s work is centred on building a community “united by the sharing of ideas and perspectives.”
Helena Thernstrom, Director and EDI Lead at the Foundation, said the sponsorship would help maintain visibility for inclusion-related initiatives, adding that Funding Xchange “shares our belief that inclusion and belonging drive both personal and professional success.”
Katrin Herrling, CEO of Funding Xchange, stated that the organisation’s involvement reflects its commitment to “creating opportunities for every voice to be heard and valued,” and aligns with its broader goal of supporting a “fairer, more open finance industry.”
