The company was established in 1996 by Gabriel Serrano and his father, with Serrano continuing to work as CEO.

Aeroservicios’ new role will involve not only handling pre-owned GSE equipment but also refurbishing and remarketing CSI’s off-lease GSE.

It is expected to enhance the services provided to ground support handlers, commercial and cargo airlines, and other industry professionals.

The Miami-based company operates two fully equipped workshops and a storage facility, alongside another workshop in Guatemala.

CSI Leasing chairman and CEO Steve Hamilton said: “CSI has been leasing new and used GSE for nearly ten years. Aeroservicios’ robust refurbishing experience and vast understanding of the GSE market will allow CSI to offer more competitive lease pricing and additional services to its customers.

“Under Gabriel’s leadership, Aeroservicios has built an exceptional reputation throughout the industry, and this combination will greatly enhance CSI’s strategy in the GSE market.”

Serrano said: “I am thrilled for Aeroservicios to join the CSI family and its growing team. CSI’s reputation, along with its global footprint, is unmatched in the leasing industry.

“Aeroservicios’ GSE experience, combined with CSI’s leasing and financing expertise, will give customers a one-stop GSE solution. Our services align very well and will be an excellent benefit to our new and existing customers.”

In February 2024, CSI expanded its European operations with the launch of two new subsidiaries: CSI Leasing Hungary, in Budapest; and CSI Leasing Austria, in Vienna.

Those entities were established to support CSI’s growing international presence and manage the company’s existing global client base while pursuing leasing opportunities with local companies.
