Allica Bank, an asset finance provider to thousands of established SMEs across the UK, has signed a sponsorship deal with 16-year-old racing driver Daniella Sutton, becoming her official banking partner as she pursues her dream of reaching Formula 1. The agreement runs until the end of 2026.
Allica said the move reflects its ethos of supporting those who “take bold steps forward,” whether in business or on the track. CEO Richard Davies described Sutton as someone who “represents the kind of challenger mindset we admire at Allica… ambitious, focused, and not afraid to keep trying even when things get tough.”

Sutton currently competes in the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship and is targeting a step up to FIA Formula 4. She has already been named to the BRDC Rising Stars Programme – an initiative that has previously recognised the likes of Sir Lewis Hamilton – and is seen as a promising talent in a sport where female representation remains scarce.
Her journey has not been without obstacles. Diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis at the age of 12, Sutton said there were times she questioned whether she could continue racing. “Racing is my passion, but it is also challenging,” she said. “You have to have a lot of resilience.”
Allica’s support will help Sutton and her family meet the financial and logistical demands of competing at higher levels of the sport. Her parents have also opened an Allica Bank business current account to manage sponsorship funds and expenses tied to her career.
“I’m so excited to have Allica in my corner – they believe in what I’m trying to do, and they’re helping me get there,” Sutton said.
