Pulse Cashflow Finance, a UK provider of SME funding, has appointed Wayne Spratt as regional director to support the growth plans of businesses across Yorkshire and the North East region.

The appointment continues a recent recruitment drive by Pulse Cashflow as it works to capitalise on the green shoots of recovery following a challenging year.

Wayne brings nearly two decades of experience within the financial services sector both within independents and bank-owned invoice finance businesses.

His career has been predominantly focused on business development roles, but he did enjoy a spell in client relationship management where he managed a portfolio of clients ensuring they continued to have the financial support they required.

With experience at Royal Bank of Scotland and Aldermore Bank, he brings a credible reputation earned in the region to Pulse Cashflow.

Spratt said: “As we move on from the last 12 months, there are definite signs of recovery and businesses are more upbeat about the future.

“With Government loans now receding and repayments due, businesses are looking for alternative sources of funding again to improve their cashflow so they can make business happen.

“I am looking forward to being able to increase their access to funding solutions that will help firms in the region get their plans firmly in motion. With funding facilities up to £2.5m, businesses can be confident of our continuing support”.

As the UK business sector starts the recovery process post-Covid, they will be looking for financial support to give their firms the best chance of getting back on track quickly over the coming year.

Martin Bennison, sales & marketing director, said: “Wayne’s appointment gives us the opportunity to expand our reach into this important region of the UK as our economy fights to get back on its feet.

“He brings a solid reputation having spent his career working with businesses and their financial advisors in the region to support their funding requirements.

“Our plans to increase our footprint and the range of solutions to UK businesses continues apace and we are looking forward to demonstrating our commitment to UK businesses.”
