Kevin Johnson joins Asset Finance Solutions (UK) Ltd with 31 years’ experience in asset finance, with 24 of those years at high street banks RBS Group, Bank of Ireland and Barclays Corporate.
More recently, since 2012 Johnson was an Associate with B2B Cashflow Solutions Ltd, a privately owned commercial finance, business banking and financial project-management consultancy.

Reflecting on his years spent on the high street, Johnson observed that despite the experience he gained with the banks, internal bank policies did nevertheless limit the funding terms that could – and could not – be offered to business clients, an experience he described as “frustrating”.
As a broker with AFS, Johnson said the company’s range of funders will allow him to expand in asset Finance, offering solutions to a more varied client and sector base.
Johnson cited AFS’s “access to a significant panel of asset finance funders” as an enticement to joining the company, also he added that “former colleagues had made the move to AFS and their recommendations have always been very positive.”
AFS is a privately-owned company that specialises in sourcing funding for “automotive finance to agricultural finance and beyond,” according to a company statement.
