Job Description:  J2626 – Our client is seeking a New Business Team Leader to ensure that approved proposals have the correct documentation in accordance with Risk’s / Sales requirements and are passed to the pay-out team within agreed deadlines for processing to activation and pay-out. You will possess the necessary qualities of a confident team leader, able to lead, motivate and develop a team and assist the Head of New Business with the general running of the department. Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Surrey / Gtr London

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Validate documentation and ensure system inputs are correct. This will include:
Documentation to be validated for completeness and accuracy,
Accurate input of additional details onto systems,
Business decisions to be made when omissions or errors are found,
Pay-outs are in line with credit acceptance terms and introducer agreements,
Liaise with sales, risk and introducers to resolve any issues.
Checking and authorising invoices for pay-out on system in line with agreed authorities.
Liaise with finance department regarding deal pricing and book funds for deals prior to pay-out where appropriate.
Ensure all variable rate deals are fully loaded with their specific cashflows in system prior to pay-out.
With the assistance of Sales, manage logs and chase any outstanding deal document requirements.
Suggest changes to the New Business process which will improve service to our introducers and actively follow through the ideas to fruition.
Prepare reports for UK management and Head Office.
Help to manage the change process within the department by participating in the writing of work instructions and rolling out of training following enhancements or changes to procedures.
Manage and prioritise team’s workload to ensure service level agreements are achieved and maintained.
Conduct team member appraisals, monitor and report sickness absences and manage holiday to ensure the business has coverage at key times.
Provide training for new team members, pass on understanding and knowledge in an easy to comprehend way.
