Close Brothers Asset Finance has appointed three new construction sales specialists.
- Regional Sales Manager Steve Smith as over 16 years’ experience in the construction sector, including the rental industry specialising in powered access equipment. He has spent time working with the Manitou Group as a product manager to develop sales of their aerial work platforms in the UK.
- Area sales manager Michael Ward has knowledge of the specialist transport, quarrying and aggregates sectors. His experience includes fleet, people management and logistics co-ordination.
- Area sales manager Nigel Clayton brings 35 years’ of experience in asset and commercial finance with five years being spent as a broker. He will be responsible for South Wales, Bristol and Gloucester and will look to grow Close Brothers Asset Finance’s presence in that region.
Paul Hindle, sales director of Close Brothers Asset Finance’s Construction and Recycling team said: “We are in an exciting growth phase and these new hires are a strong indication of our long-standing dedication to this key sector.
“All three of them are experts in their fields and bringing them on board is a continuation of our policy of only hiring people who can speak our customers’ language, which is a key component of our ongoing success.”
