Accountancy firm Baldwins has appointed an associate director to its East Midlands banking and finance advisory, with experience across established lenders and the fintech sector.
Richard Sydenham has joined the 11-strong team in Baldwins’ Birmingham office, which focuses on the SME segment.

He started his career in 2007 through RBS’s mentoring programme, moving on to become business relationship manager at NatWest.
After a short stint as invoice finance and asset-based lending (ABL) specialist with Kind Consultancy, he joined MarketInvoice as partnership manager.
Later roles include business development executive at Bibby Financial Services and business development manager at Inksmoor Finance Group, with a focus on invoice finance and credit control.
Sydenham said: “I’m really looking forward to engaging with colleagues across our Midlands offices to support both existing and potential new clients with their funding needs, as well as working to attract new clients to the firm using my extensive network of local bank managers and trusted advisors.”
